Shayde Slayer is a fantasy board game based off of the concept of socialism. I designed the playing cards and the board itself along with the rules and the playing pieces.

Socialism Definition: A political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

This game works to overthrow the Marxist style ruler (Shayde). Shayde Slayer can be played multiple ways. You can build and fortify your own House, or you can work and trade with each other and together to fight Shayde.  The game helps kids understand the value of working together and sharing their resources to reach a collective goal.

 

 However, Shayde does have his own abilities that keep the Houses from working together and makes it that much more difficult for them to succeed.
